Urban Salisbury sponsors many events throughout the year. Here is a sample of some of the fun!

This year, Movies Under The Stars  happens every Saturday in August at dusk behind Parker Place.  Bring a chair.  Enoy Dominos pizza, refreshments and popcorn by Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Free family fun for everyone!

Every October, FireFest commerates the Great Fire of 1886, in late November.  Learn more about Salisbury's history, enjoy displays of antique fire fighting gear and thanks to the Salisbury Fire Department, take a real, close look at the firefighters and equipment that keeps our community safe.

The LEGO Building Contest in the early Spring is a special, fun event for kids of all ages.  Watch children 4 to 12 and sometimes, adults build the most imaginative structures, fantasies and creations you've ever seen!

The Community Tree Lighting kicks off the festive season in late November.  Dancers, singers, choirs and more mean a great event when everyone gets together to say hello to Santa Claus!

Arts on the Plaza is Salisbury’s main arts event. This event is held usually juxtaposed with the Salisbury Festival. AOTP, as it often referred to, has been ongoing since the 1980s, its purpose being to help bring more emphasis to Salisbury’s local artistic talent.

3RD Friday is Salisbury's favorite party, with visual arts, music, dance and food for every taste. Every month hundreds of people come Downtown to enjoy everything from glass sculptures to belly dancing. The stores are open late and the restaurants fill quickly. Join your friends every month for 3RD Friday.

Park n’ Flea is a shoppers delight. It's a grand flea market held every weekend. Shoppers can expect antiques, collectables, produce, and much, much more. Park n’ Flea is an entertaining event for all ages, 7 am on Saturday, and 9 am on Sunday.

The Downtown Farmers Market starts early every Saturday morning all summer long with great produce, fruits, vegetables abd other delights from the memebrs of the Shore Fresh Growers Association.

The Sculpture Committee of Urban Salisbury is beautifying the area by planning, designing, creating and installing very special urban sculptures all around Downtown.
